The Struggle

I may never know if I am lucky
for pursuing a passion;

​

feeling compelled, more than wanting
to birth that cumbersome image,
which grows
and needs to be released.

​

So instead,

 

I simply find solace in knowing
that I am honoring my design,

and by so doing choose my own suffering
on this long and winding road

without a map

​

where many are called,
but few are chosen.
