Description:
From graphite to colored ink, then came the yearning for more color; and this Prismacolor drawing became my first deep dive into blending, learning to create graduations in tone and seamless transitions from one color to another.
There's nothing profound about this piece, per se, except that this is my earliest memory of finding a "flow state", which heightened focus and enabled me to work through tedious details that may have otherwise been rushed).
Sadly, however, even after conducting a Google image search, I was unable to find the source image for this drawing, which I originally found in the pages of a fashion magazine, more than 30 years ago. So... I am unable to credit the original photographer or designer for the reference and inspiration.
