As much as I would love to wax poetic about this painting, The Entrance Door is really just a collection of first impressions and untold stories, encountered during a surface exploration of the imagination.

I was just starting to investigate the mysteries of the mind, after all, and felt that I should start with simple observations... before deciding on which direction to travel.

Ultimately, however, that direction was inward (perhaps even using the entrance door seen here).
