Description:

Conceptually, this painting developed over a period of a few years, through observations and discussions with my sister, as I attempted to identify the language of her emotional struggles; many of which were familiar enough to me to provide shape through association.

However, because this story is not my own... the imagery is really only a catalog of impressions that were either felt or witnessed, as a brother wanting to help his sister, but not knowing how.
