Mental Block

By definition, a Mental Block is the inability to recall a specific thing or perform a mental action, including familiar tasks that seem as if they should be automatic.

Of course, this drawing was inspired by a Creative Block that I encountered and calmly overcame through the physical act of drawing.

However, because these mental obstructions can occur in anyone, in any industry, I chose to title this piece "Mental Block"... to make it universally relatable..

Nonetheless, there have also been times in the past when the best course of action was to simply rest... allowing the creative mechanism to recuperate after a sustained and relentless grind.
