With a long history of drawing (with pencils) behind me, the next step in translating that experience into ink was to start drawing the familiar, as a guide and measure, applying newly developing techniques to subjects found in the observable world.

So, although surrealistic in nature, this drawing was technically produced as an anatomical study that spontaneously took shape as I explored different aspects of the human body.
