Miscalculations in Exertion and Replenishment

Description:

Life is filled with exertions, both planned and unplanned, and that is the expectation.

Yet, being the optimist that I am... I still often underestimate those exertions, which too frequently results in fatigue and the feeling of a victory that came at too great a cost (a pyrrhic victory).

Still, as an automatic drawing, the imagery in this piece was not pre-meditated. But... the impression it leaves in me is all too familiar, as an over-exerted effort to refuel; perhaps even serving as a friendly reminder to be more kind to myself.
