Created in a moment of panic, caused by the resurfacing of old wounds and self-doubt, this expressionistic Self Portrait is still only a reminder that life is a journey, not a destination. Because, only when I've lost sight of that, has the road ahead seemed overwhelming.

Thankfully, however... I have a ready outlet that allows me to capture and release these emotions in real-time (most of the time, at least) enabling me to acknowledge and embrace them for what they are... personal... relevant... and also fleeting... before moving on.
